Here’s Why You Need To Watch Mithila Palkar’s Girl In The City Season 3!

I know I am writing this super personal kinda article after long, but trust me, I missed you! I hope you did too! I am glad that I am back in form and September is filled with fun things. 🙂 Lately, I have been obsessed with Mithila Palkar’s Girl In The City Season 3 and I couldn’t help but talk about it. It may seem out of the blue, but yeah, there are so many things in the series to love. So here’s why I think every ambitious soul must watch this Bindas’s hit web series – Girl In The City Season 3!

It’s Relatable AF

It truly is! I have watched the Season 1, Season 2 and now watching Girl In The City Season 3 with all the love. I am very picky when it comes to watching anything on the internet. The title of this web series attracted me the most and yes, of course, there is Mithila 😊 So, I would only talk about this particular season, which is the third one of the series. So far, it is going great and is so damn relatable. The lead character Meera is everything you want her to be! She is independent, supremely ambitious, hardworking and likes to keep her self-esteem high. Also, somehow she is stressed out all the time. lol I see glimpses of myself and am sincerely rooting for the character with all my heart.

Although, in the comments section, I see so many people writing things like “Where is Kiran”, “This is boring”, “We want Kiran and Meera’s Chemistry” etc. etc. (Obvio, there are also plenty who write good things too) I get it a love affair, romance, and masala sells. Nobody likes to watch the struggles of a person. But, I am really loving it. Yes, Kiran and Meera’s chemistry was on fire but, this ambitious Meera is so much more blissful to watch too!

It’s truly like a breath of fresh air!

I would particularly talk about the episode “The Big Pitch” The ending where Meera is sitting on the road, looking at the bungalow of her dreams. She had a bad day, a really bad week and nothing seems right. She breaks down like literally breaks down before the bungalow on that lonely road and I tell you that scene is shot so well. I watch it on repeat, because, I have felt what she was feeling, and I am sure so many of you also must have had felt the same at some level, at some point.

She says something along the lines of… “Hum middle-class log, we always want more”, “Why do I have all this ambition when I don’t have the means to fulfill it.” She feels like that despite working so hard. And then she again sees hope saying, “I need a miracle.” Waoooh! There are so making such breath-taking scenes in this particular season which I am enjoying it. Girl In The City Season 3 is truly like a breath of fresh air!

The Storyline:

Needless to say, the storyline so far is not cliched. Not monotonous. Not some love and heartbreak story. Genuine entertainment for souls like me! Loving the story to the core. Plus today’s episode was a positive one after so many days. I am so happy that I decided to write an entire blog about it! Good job Bindas TV! And, yeah, thank you!!

It’s Mithila Palkar:

I don’t think that I need to explain this, I mean c’mon, everyone loves Mithila. I can watch anything (Okay, almost, anything) starring her. Apart from her looks, her acting is always on point. The way she emotes every scene making it real is too good. Like you know she is Mithila, still, she will make you believe that she is Meera for that point in time. A true victory for an actor if they can actually become the character that they are playing.

It’s Not on Netflix (Hence, Free lol):

This isn’t a small reason, bruh! It’s free! Aur kya bolu? 😛

So, by now you know that I absolutely adore Girl In The City Season 3 and nope, I am not paid to write this! 😀 Aah! I am so happy writing freely here, which is why I started this blog in the first place. Being the child that I am, I want to say, ideasthroughwords.com – I Love You, thank you for having my back! 🙂 Also, thank you so so so much readers for helping me keep it alive! Keep reading and sharing!

Do let me know in the comments below if you have watched any episode of this season. If you have, welcome to the group!! Tell me what you loved/hated about the series 😊

Cant’ wait to hear from you!!

  1. All this sounds like gobbeldygook to me since the only TV I really watch is the NEWS which I have to since that is the only channel my husband watches. And then of course I have to watch the programmes my househelp watches and the ones the grandchildren watch. So it is quite an eye opener for me that there are other programs on TV that are worth watching too! Thanks for this information. Perhaps I will give this program a shot.
