This is the one work mantra to learn from Alia Bhatt!
Alia Bhatt is goals! Isn’t she? The way she has managed her career so far, the choice of films, her roles, is commendable. Apart from that, she is also adulting like a pro, from buying a new house, a car, taking care of her pet like no other and indulging in social initiatives so on. All this while looking flawless! Of course, some of you might go like beauty is a blessing, she is a product of nepotism and stuff! And, I agree to all of it. KARMA you know! It’s her karma to be born in ideal material circumstances but there are way too many star kids who have wasted the opportunity/opportunities that were bestowed upon them. So, it’s an undeniable fact that the lady has worked hard to achieve an A list status in the industry, her new home is a gem and now her social initiatives are making good use of her star power. Sending all the #GirlLove to you Alia!
I am a personal growth junkie, if you know me, you will understand that it is almost embedded in my system to learn from every damn thing let alone good things. So, as I admire Alia, not just because she is an actor but what she has done with the opportunities presented to her. We, humans, are the outcomes of the choices we make, the decisions we take! (woooo, that’s deep and it rhymes!) 😀 If we have to learn one thing and implement it in our lives, it is Alia Bhatt’s work mantra. She hinted at a very important thing in her recent media statement, first have a look at it, then we will discuss it for a moment.
In an interview published in Bombay Times, Alia said, “As an actor, if you are constantly thinking about the other part that you are supposed to play in another film, it somehow affects (what you are doing at that particular point). The best way to go about it is that you work on one film and finish it completely before getting into another one, and that’s the way I am working on ‘Raazi’. So, I am working on it on a start-to-finish basis and once it gets over, makers will get into post-production, and I will move on to my other films. So, as of now, I am staying with this particular film and character.”
Here, the young star Alia Bhatt gave away one extremely important tip of “being fully present in the now” and not worrying about ten other things while doing a particular task. This is the same thing two of my mentors – Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji and Marie Forleo also teach! Strange and unbelievable how all the successful people somehow follow the same principles for leading their lives! Often, we (me included) are not paying attention in the now i.e. at the present moment and are regretful about the past or are anxious about the future which by the way is useless. It does nothing good but yes, rightly ruins our present. Hence, the task at hand is not rightly done which in turn results in sadly an undesirable outcome. Agree?
